That's what we call our Teens About Prevention group that is at the core of Start Strong Wichita. And we would love for you to join us!

We are helping to prevent teen dating violence, domestic violence and sexual abuse . and doing it in a way that is very CREATIVE and FUN, and which allows us to exercise our unique interests, skills and talents. If that sounds intriguing to you, then we need you for our TAP family! And TAP really IS like a family!

We are a growing group of FRIENDS . having a BLAST . hanging out . and planning and executing events for the public such as.

• The "Wat's Luv Got To Do Wit' It?" Final Friday Art Show last winter (for which ours was the first show in a brand new gallery that we actually opened with help from friends!)
• A rally last fall for middle school students with original music, a live band, a parade, poster making, and more
• Dozens of performances of "improv theater" skits on dating and domestic violence - plus excerpts from two full-blown stage productions: "don't u luv me" and The Outrage (AND we are WRITING a NEW script right NOW!)
• A weekend summer team-building camp for our group .and people just like YOU that will be the last weekend in July
• Media events for the Twilight movie series for which we post videos on our very own YouTube TV station
• And Rock RESPECT!- a night of live music celebrating the efforts of local dating violence prevention programs
